New Guy Too!

Hi Everybody,

My name is Joseph Martin and I live in Canton, GA. I have ALWAYS been a Dodge lover. In the past I have owned: 1971 Plymouth Fury I Police Interceptor w/440, a 1980 Diplomat Police Interceptor w/360. Then I grew up and moved up to trucks. I just found and purchased my dream truck; 1980 W200 Crew cab, she is beautiful. I own a 1991 W250 Diesel she is also a sweet ride as diesels go.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and gathering as much info as possible. I am somewhat familiar with this style of forum as I belong to Diesel Truck Resource (DTR) too.
I see where to post pictures, but how do I upload a picture to my signature?
Thank you all in advance and God Bless you.

Peace,
Joseph

P.S. I just saw a "Flat Fender" Pick-up '46 I think! WOW!, I might have to get one of those.

Hi angelfire, I second that: welcome and nice rides! The DTR was very patient with me and quite helpful back when I asked my first questions about Cummins 4BT engines, nice folks there.

I don't know the 1980 model truck well. Yours is immacualte, beautiful, but is that the stock front end? I like the grille treatment better than my '90, looks real business like, as in serious business, you talkin' to me!!?

Definitely looks like a keeper and the white paint really sets it off. But be nice to that diesel, it wil outlive the V8 cousin about 3:1 haha!

Oh, and Avatar enablement is under User CP on upper left of this page in the header. I'm not sure Avatars are allowed for all forum members, possibly only for magazine subscribers, not sure. Check out the CP and give it a try, much like uploading pictures to a message. If you have problems post again and someone will explain.

Avatars are for subscribers only, but a worse fate could befall you than subscribing....= )

Hi JimmieD,

Thank you! No the front end is off of a 1991. I am looking for a front end that has vertical parking lights in another thread here. I think that might look better painted white on the front of her.
I know the diesel will last longer but when I sell her I can start looking for a '46 or newer. :-)
