The W600 has heavier axles and transfer case than your donor vehicle. To swap those parts would downgrade your truck.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

      Welcome Wayne,

I would love to see pictures of your W600. I have a 75 model.
Which front axle does yours have, Dana 70 or the Rockwell?
Gordon is right. The Cummins motor would be an upgrade, but the rest of the drivetrain would not.
