  • 1951 Baja Power Wagon

Interesting article about some guys building a Baja Power Wagon and doing fairly well, although only most of the sheet metal is power wagon.

The tube work matches the truck body lines rather well. There seems to be a surge in these trucks being used for trail trucks again too. I believe that we are seeing the Power Wagon become the new "hot rod" item and its now "cool" to have a REAL tough truck in a world or squatted, bumper dragging, luxury Superduty and similar trucks. Its the truck response equivalent to the way Mustangs and Vettes became cooler again during the presence of the rice racer Civics and similar.

I have spoke with the builder of this truck, I am hoping to get him to write me a story and make an appearance at a Rally or 2.
