        Soaking update

Well after a couple days of soaking in WD-40 and brake cleen the truck has freed up and quit squeeking. Anyway just a few questions for everyone. The truck seems to have a Transmission PTO as well as a PTO winch. Does anyone have a pto on there truck? If so is it a pretty standard unit or does it vary? Also whats a good source for new cab lights? And finally does anyone have experiance with aftermarket sheetmetal? Looking to just outright change the floorpans instead of bending my own sheetmetal.

          Oooh shiny

Did some more touching up today on the bumper and the grill and some washing on the engine. I also rinsed out the gas tank and found a bit of rust so ill need to tumble it with some media.

Your Fargo is a righteous machine. Very nice score/save.

You will be happy with exline parts for your resto. We installed the full pans in our 65 W100 and they were a life (truck) saver.

Finally getting it 100% put together.

Still trying to decide on tires while the current hoops get fried off. Tuning for optimal efficiency and all of that stuff:

You need to visit the www.sweptline.org site from time to time.

                        nice

looks like you probably have a 318-3 which means HD exhaust manifolds, a little more HP and hydraulic lifters and some other internal differences I cant remember. engine is stamped on front left just below the head.
