  • Front springs

    Hi
I replaced the engine with a Poly 318 and my front springs are straight now. I don't remember if they were straight before or not.
Anyway I'm wondering if I could just add a leaf or do I need to re arch or even replace the springs.
    Looking for advice.
    Thanks
    Ken

Re-arching generally does not last. Your other two ideas are better.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

These guys have the Power Wagon Specs and can make you an new set. Email them and tell them what model you have, winch, etc. Decent prices. They will even do custom 1" or 2" lifts, more leaves for heavier engines, etc.

        springs

My m37 had badly sagging springs with a broken leaf or two, I bought nos front springs from vpw and had a local spring shop add 2 leaves. This is for a potential motor swap down the road, however the truck sits nicely, I also switched the rears out for m43 rear springs to get the height right. truck still rides pretty well .
