    I hate body work!
Maybe that's why it's taking me 10 years to get this far.
Finally got started on it and hopefully will have some OD on it before the snow flies!

Bodywork can sometimes be a long process, but the reward is fantastic. Can't wait to see it back in OD.

Tom I also have never been a fan of body work, I have done a ton of it but would rather build an engine, do a brake job, almost anything first. But that looks like a very straight truck deserving of the right paint job.

Yes, the biggest lesson I have learned from doing it is that I don't like doing it. Not having the right space for it doesn't help matters any either. At this point I'm just hoping it holds up long enough for me to forget how much I didn't like doing it, so I won't mind having to do it again!

At least it will look pretty in the pictures forever!

          Thanks for all the encouragement!
I've always had a lot of respect for people who do there own body/paint work.
It takes Huge amounts of patience not to mention the tools.
          Slowly getting there.

Tom! before you get to far in painting you might look at the Cargo bench seat on the left side needs to be on the right side of the bed. The shorter bench seat is for the spare tire and mount system which all mounts on the right side of the bed.

                Later Joe

                  Thanks Joe,
Actually both sides are cut short. There was some kind of mount on the left side possibly for a radio or something that required the shorter seat.
There are remains of the rear cab and front bed bulkhead connector and four evenly spaced holes in the corner bed floor.

Besides I'm wanting this thing painted and back together before my,

I need to get it back together in time for the winter!
                      Hope all is well Jeff.

                        Tom,
I know if you are doing the job it will be done right!
I look forward to seeing the end result.

                          Thanks Dave.
I'm trying to just get everything covered in paint for protection and at least all one color.
I have removed more panels than intended but at least there painted and what they were covering.
Have cut in the areas with paint and then reinstalling them, then a final sanding and squirt the whole thing.
Also have been running new wires . All I want is for a presentable "motor pool" Re-paint, so I can drive it until a later date. hopefully a long while.
