A Corbin cylinder cabinate lock fits perfectly. A look at the inside of the glove box door will reveal how to cut the face to allow the installation of that type of lock. The cylinders are identified by flat surfaces on either side , which prevents them from rotating.

The Corbin lock is available at most hardware stores, or was when I bought mine, although they may need to order it for you. You certainly can find them on-line as well. I believe they are now indentified as Corbin Russwin, although there are other makers as well.
