  • M37 cab size

Hey everyone, Iam new to the forum. Iam looking into building another military truck. I did a m715 years ago and sold it to buy my house. Iam thinking of doing a m37. Question is how much room is there in the cab ? Iam 6.4 300 pnds. Iam going to look at a 51 m37 but the factory seats are gone as well as the battery box area because the owner was going to use different seats. So I cant sit in it to get a idea. Thank you in advance !

At 6'-4" you might b a little cramped pulling your foot back for enough to activate the clutch and brake. I'm 6', and 200+ and am comfortable, but Ron in IN is taller and does not like to drive my M.
    I drive a DODGE, not a ram!

    Thanks,

I have always wanted to modify an M37 by lengthening the cab — probably just behind the door — for precisely that reason. It would, of course, require lengthening the frame also.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

What gets in the way of your buddys leg when releasing the clutch ? The steering wheel I would assume ?

Steering wheel, and the seat front with his big foot I believe.
