  • Shock absorber

    Hello everybody.

    I am registered for a couple of days and I found very interesting information in your posts.
    I have a long list of questions, I start with this first one:
    What are the shock absorbers you use to replace the old original ones?
    Has anyone already mounted Monroe or Bilstein shocks? If yes what is the reference?

    Regards
    Quentin

    Are talking about a flat fender power wagon? If so, I just put the Monroe 66707 shocks on mine. Fit perfect. No need for the old two piece rubber bushings that are used with the original shocks. The Monroe's bushing works perfect. Here are a couple of pics of the shocks. Yellow is how they come, shows the bushing in place. In the second pic, painted black and mounted on the rear. Hope this helps!

    Merry Christmas!

        Hello all
        Thanks for your answers.
        Sure CSCameron, this helps. Thank you for the pictures, seems to be a nice frame.
        These Monroe are not available in France but hopefully Amazon is our friend.
        I hope you had a merry Christmas with your family;
        Regards

        Quentin
