  • found 53 M37

    I just found a M37 on govliquidation.com
I am going to bid on it.
Please help by not bidding on it
Pictures show that the truck is in good condition but needs tires.

    That's a nice looking survivor.
    Looks to be very complete.
Will need a fuel pump heat shield to prevent problems.
    Good Luck with the sale.
Curious to see what it sells for.

Looks like one of the trucks from Jack Tomlin's collection, some others from the collection have previously been sold through Govt. Liquidation.

Guess you did not ask enough folks not to bid.

The 65 B1 in the same sale seems to holding around $3000.00
Looks to be a little rough compared to the 53 but is a runner, winch truck, hard top cab, fender mounted personal heater.
              Keep an eye on it.

Someone wanted it more than I could afford
                I hope they enjoy it.

After paying that much I'm sure they wanted it badly enough to devote the hours and $$$ necessary to do bring it back to road worthy condition. Sorry you missed it but there are others available in your price range. You might want to find out about this 1954 truck that ED Anderson has for sale listed in the G741 Swap Meet forum. Looks like a good candidate for a first time buyer.
