Just looking once more to see if there is any interest in the W500 I have. Needing to gain some room in the shop. If no one is interested I've decided to scrap the firetruck bed and pump.

I totally understand you wanting to get rid of the firebed/pump. Sometimes less is more.

Yea, had planned on just pulling the pump and making a rolling Power Wagon Event Cooking unit, but not sure I like that route now. Pulling the bed and pump might make it more desirable to a buyer and open up some room for me in the shop.

It would make a heck of a flat bed 4x4.

Yes it would, I've thought about putting one on it along with either a modern Hemi or 6BT and haul my Power Wagon.

For what it's worth, my vote is for the 6BT!!!!!! Doug

Yea, the 6BT would make the most since, but based on usage and cost effectiveness, the Modern Hemi would be most cost effective.

Put a trailer hitch on it and haul Two Power Wagons!

I'd stick with the 361 myself. The only other thing I'd
do immediately would be to remove those front fender
skirts and open those wheel wells back up.

I've pulled one fender skirt already, and yes it does look much better that way.

I agree with John..... That skirt made the truck look foreign/European.
