  • M37 body mounting!

Got the truck painted between the cab and the body...now the body is just sitting ontop of the frame awaiting a bolt down.

Now that I have the $$ to buy the appropriate parts, I would like to go to the local mom and pop-have EVERYTHING hardware store to get the bolts/support local buisness, etc.

I have been searching through my manual, and for the bolts I need it just says "if bolts need replacement, remove and replace with new."

I need a "cap screw," and 2 different sized step bolts to make this work...

Does anybody on here happen to know what size these bolts are so I can get the body on?

After the body is mounted, I am going to register it! So close!

    Bolt Sizes

An ORD 9 SNL G-741 manual would have the info you need. I have this manual and if you can post a picture of exactly where the bolts go I will look up the sizes for you.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

Hey that's great thank you! I only have the TM 9-1840A, as well as the
        TM 9-8030

I have circled in red in the below picture, which bolts I need...

          Bolt Sizes

          A: Steel Cap Screw, cadmium plated, 1/2" - 20 x 1 1/2" up to 80011611
          x 1 7/8" after 80011612

          G: Steel Step Bolt, chemical surface treatment 1/2 - 20 x 2 3/4"

          N: Steel Step Bolt, chemical surface treatment 1/2 - 20 x 6"

A step bolt looks like a carriage bolt; but has a larger diameter head which is also not as high as a carriage bolt.

          Hope this helps.
