Door Latches

The spring which holds the door catch down in the drivers side mechanism has broken (?). This causes my door to fly open at the slightest provocation and at the most inopportune moments. Is there a fix for this? I have been unable to find an exploded view of the lock mechanism.

sounds like a new mechanism is in order. I replaced mine on both doors because of the same issue.

I have seen some blow up views of the latches and I know some folks have rebuilt them.
