  • Thanks PopPop....

My love for cars/trucks all started with my Grandfather (AKA PopPop). He took me to antque car shows and collected older cars as long as have been alive. (till 8 years ago when he devoloped althzihmers, and is now in critical shape near the end)

All the daily drivers he ever had were Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth cars. Man would I love to have some of them back now. Like the 72 2 door Polara with the 400 or the 383 powered town and country wagon with woodgrain sides.

Anyway since Dodge was in my blood and my "other" Grandfather and stepdad had all furds, my freinds all drove chebbies there was no way I was driving anything but a Dodge unless I had to.

First car was a 65 Rambler stepdad gave me, I got it running and off I went, at 19 my first car I ever bought and financed was a 79 "pimp-mobile" Cordoba with Corinthian leather power seats, electric sun roof, AT on the floor, tilt steering, A/C and a 318!
The first 4x4 I had was a 65 IH scout ($200) and I beat the tar out of it. In 86 I bought my first Dodge truck since everyone else had Heeps, and Blazer's, and I was a Dodge guy anyway I picked up a 77 TrailDuster (TD) 3 on the tree 318 for $1200.
That was the beginning of my addiction............
    Then the list begins.......
It was the 78 TD I did a frame up resto on.
77 power wagon (PW) 360 NP 435 short bed
    77 400 AT Ramcharger (RC)
From here the date line starts at 2001 to present
    79 RC 360 AT
    79 PW stepside 360 AT
    77 400 AT RC
77 TD slant 6 4x4 (first trail rig now 360)
    80 TD 318 NP435
    89 D250 318 AT
    82 W350 club cab NP 435 360
    98 Durango
    90 W250 Cumins AT
    92 D250 club cab Cumins
    85 RC 360 AT
    79 RC 318 ( new trail rig)
    Coming soon...
    78 PW W200 440 AT crew cab

That's the "drivable list" of ones I've had. There has been at least 5 trucks/RCs I've had in the last 8 years that were nothing but parts truck. Thus the reason I have two sheds, the attic of the garage, full of parts and around the outside of the sheds.........

At this point we have left on that list the...
    77 400 RC AT
    80 TD 318 435
77 TD AT slant 6 (now 360) trail rig
79 RC 318 AT (trail rig)
    90 W250 Cumins
    98 Durango
    85 RC 360 AT
and the frame, axles,trans/transfer, and motor from the 79 RC 360

My plan is to do a frame up resto on the 77 400 RC and the 80 TD 318The Durango is getting sold since the 85 RC is the replacement, and the family truckster will be the 78 PW crew cab I'm picking up in a month.

    There you have it.
I love my Dodges and love restoring them. I have helped many of my "Dodge friends" fix and repair their trucks and RC/TDs.

My wife married into being a "Dodge person" since that's all I'll let her drive. LOL.........
