HD cooling and tranny cooler if auto / bigger clutch if STD
snow tires [ go,s without sayin]
    better front springs
"snow fiter " stickers installed or not
then you could just order the "plow prep package" and NOT get the plow and then it could be factory or dealer installed

      Sno-fiter memories

My dad's company vehicle in 74-75 when he worked for Johns-Manville in Pueblo, Co was a blue W200 sno-fiter. It had the strobe stripes and a snow plow with a yellow blade on the front. The company used it to plow the county road out to the pipe-plant, which was outside city limits at the time. Also the sno-fiter was used to move rail-road cars of resin out of the yard. I was in 1st grade back then, will NEVER forget that sno-fiter!

Meyer was the plow manufacturer widely used on the Sno-Fiters.

Cab lights were required, tires were 700x15on W100, snow fiter stripes were not available until 74, inside hood release, 70 amp battery, 50 amp alternator, plow lights, hd shocks, These items were either required or included NO SNOW PLOW PREP pkg
This is info from actual invoices & order blanks

I wondered about the cab lights on this truck. I didn't think they put them on 1/2 ton trucks.
