  • Ammo Can...

    I bought this .50 cal can at a yard sale this weekend. It is different than any I have seen because of the side latch with the hinge. Is this a WWII type can?

    I am not sure about your container, but it is certainly interesting. I have one that is wooden, and I do not know its vintage, either.

      I have one like that for .30cal. I'm not positive, but I think
      this type is earlier than WW2. They are different from all of
      my other cans I have that are WW2 vintage.
