  • V8 conversion kit?

Does anybody make a V8 conversion kit for the M37/43? Helitool no longer sells there kit. Anyone else produce one? I would like to put a 318 v8 with a 5 speed manual trans. in a M43. Thanks for any help.

    455 Olds in an M 43

    30 years ago I installed a 455 Olds out of my 68 Oldsmobile into my M 43
it was a lot of work but lots of fun... I just moved it back to Ohio from
were it was parked in California for 18 years... now to get it running again
need a pass side door any out there...

Now I understand your user name.

I was interested in Oldsmobiles even before I was interested in Power Wagons, which was a long time ago, of course.

I have two 425's I have kept all these years for just such a purpose. Nothing like the exhaust sound of one of those engines.

It would be interesting to learn more about how you did your conversion.

Why is it that the inside of old truck cabs smell so good?

        M 43 With a Olds Rocket engine

When I get my M 43 running again after being parked for 18 years... Ill
get some picture off to you If you check out my website www.rocketfest.com you will see why I used a Oldsmobile engine in the first place... A few Military Guys in california didn't like that I put a olds
in it 30 years ago... but when I found it it was stripped down but thats
what I was looking for.. And now I need a higher Gear for the Rear and
Ill be cruzing again but Not in CA in Ohio..
