  • Power Giant valve cover emblems??

Is the Power Giant wording of the 315 hemi/poly valve covers painted on or is it a sticker? Also, does anybody have a really clear picture of the Power Giant wording on the valve covers? I want to see if my cousin, in Iowa, can reproduce them.

    Thanks, Steve

This is all that's left of the sticker on my 1958 315 hemi. Will this be the same style Power Giant 315 valve cover sticker for the poly? It looks as if it has a touch of yellow for the background. (By the way, I haven't taken delivery of this engine yet, I should have it by the end of the month.)

Hey Steve! That's a great looking 315. Is it a good runner? I've been thinking about your D-400 lately and wondering how the installation of the 9' bed is progressing. Got any pictures to bring us up to speed?

As far as I know the 315 is a good runner. From what I understand it was run on propane. I have no idea what kind of carb setup would be used for propane. The carb does look a bit strange.

Since I haven't got my work shop started the D400 is just going to have to be put on hold until the sun comes out. It's in covered storage right now staying out of the elements.

I haven't decided which truck to bring to the rally this year, the D400 or the W100. Or if somebody needs a haul from out here like that 1959 Dodge D700 on e-Bay, who knows.

Steve, here is a 315 sticker image a had. Looks like the same thing in yellow and red. I think I could fake it drawing from these images. Gar

Thanks, that would be great. Those 315 polys and hemis are perdy little engines, aren't they?

Do you have an exact measurement for them? Gar

Not yet. I haven't seen a complete sticker. There was a gentleman on eBay that WAS selling a 354 and I requested a trace and measurement from him. Steve

That's perfect. Where did you find such a clear likeness of them?

No, I need a custom sticker.

Sir, you have an incredible talent. Is that something you can develop into a valve cover sticker?

Gary, I heard back from my cousin in Iowa. She can reproduce the stickers for use on valve covers. If you are not going to reproduce these would it be ok for her to use your template? She does decals/stickers and commercial art for race cars and shipping trucks for a living.

For all of you PG 315/354 owners, would any of you be interested in these stickers?
