  • Showing off (WC 21)

Still under restoration (winterbreak now) my brother and I went for a drive with his jeep and my Dodge WC 21.
Bought it technically restored and worked on it for 9 months (outside-no garage).
Today was a nice day so time to take it for a spin.
Offcourse I couldn't keep myself from showing off by driving onto a steep embankment. I didn,t get far though.
Still a nice photo I think.
    O yeah its a 1942 truck

Okay! I can take a suggestion. I'll get to work on my WC-21 - right after the W300M - right after the WDX.

Looks good. It is always great to see one of these fine old trucks getting some exercise.

        nice rig

Olaf, that is a great looking truck.
Does that truck have canvas for the top or cargo area?

Are WWII MV's hard to come by in Holland?

        regards

          Canvas and stuff

          Hi
I am 85% ready with restoring and haven't got canvas yet.
I want to make a canvas top for the cab itself and one for the cargobed. So I need to work out how tro make a removable structure for the cab without welding or drilling holes which is difficult.

Here in Holland are many WW2 vehicles left after the Liberation like Jeeps, GMC and Dodges which were used by our Army and for the rebuilt of ou country.
The 3/4 ton Dodges are quite common in MV clubs but the 1/2 ton are very rare and expensive. I bought the WC 21 to drive something different than the rest.
I also own a BSA folding bicycle.
