Your location will make a BIG difference in whether you find that deal.
It's helpful to list it in your signature box.
Those are great trucks, good luck with your search!

I have one that is complete, ex-fire brush truck, have more than $800 in it though. It is good condition with no rust out in the typical areas. An excellent truck for restoration. Give me a call if interested. 704-474-4683, ask for Charles.

Honesty here, I have $2,500 in it, will take that for it. Don't know what your plans are for it, this 1 is unrestored & is as good of a core truck as I've seen in many years. No rust in the cab floor behind the seats like most M715 trucks have. Also includes some extra parts, tailgate, left & right front fenders, other odd stuff. If you really want one of these, you should look at this one. Seriously my friend, $800 won't buy much these days. I just sold an engine from a 715 last week for $600. If you plan to buy a truck & spend $$$ on fixing up, you'll pass $2,500 before you get started good.

yeah i have been looking at some dodges until i stubled across this and thought i would check out and see what they normaly go for. obviously they are a little more popular than i expected. i was planning on dropping a 1st gen cummins turbo diesel in one but now looking more toward a j10 or j20 they are cheaper than an 85 dodge and have around the same body so i think i might look into thoughs.

Not that is helps you. But here in Michigan there is one that is for sale. I actually think it is an ambulance body, but the asking price was over $4k...
Just giving you ideas. I've only seen the one in that past 5 years or more. They are hard to come by...

I run across M715's on occassion. They run from $1500 beaters to $5000 decent rigs. $800 will get you a non-running vehicle, which is fine if your swapping in your own engine.

1st gen Cummins will fit into the M715, we are installing a Cummins now in a brush fire M715. I haven't really tried to sell mine because it will make an excellent core truck for a repower, but if you decide you want it, $2,500 & come get it.

yeah i thnk i might get a j10 and put a m715 bed on it. it wont be exactly the same as the m715 but it will look somewhat similar and cost less. i plan to redo everything on it so no reason to pay more if im just going to take it out.
new axles possibly new frame new engine new bed new interior trany just about it all so cheaper is going to be a little beneficial to start.

Well with what you have in mind of doing, the purchase price is the least of your financial concerns. Be careful, what you save now from purchasing a cheaper & no doubt lesser quality core truck will be spent several times over in getting that lesser quality truck up to standard before you are done.

Our address used to be mseriesrebuild@alltel.net, are you by chance using that one? Phone Co buy outs have changed everything, we are now on Windstream. Everything worked as Alltel for several months, that no longer works now, you must type in the new Co name, mseriesrebuild@windstream.net or it will no longer work.

Anyway I received your question concerning fenders this morning & sent you a reply. Received it from 2 different sources by the way.
