Hi to All-

I would like to thank everyone for attending the rally. Thanks to the many volunteers and the staff at Vintage Power Wagons who helped make this a great success, this is what makes things happen. I hope to see all of you and hopefully many more new friends next year. Thanks again.

Sincerely,
John Torpy

Another fine meal being prepared by Ron from Indiana and Jon from Illinois. We never went hungry at this rally!

Pretty good for a boy from New Jersy on his first time out on the board and he walks away with 3rd place. The coaching from the sidelines probably didn't have anything to do with it. LOL I'm glad everyone had a great time even with the rain we had. Jon and I roasted 250+ hot dogs that night even with the tornado sirens going off at the fairgrounds. Everyone got fed and if they went away from any of the meals hungry it was their own fault. I actually thought it was better and easier to use the Tim Allen sized grill than to do the dogs over the open fire.

Longhunter, you did a good job on the Jersy boy's picture, how about that green PG that was just ahead of him? Great looking 37 you have too.

Ron,

Could this be the shiny green Power Giant that you are referring to?

I have family in Webster City..... perhaps a visit to them with a "side
trip" to the '09 Rally..... something for me to ponder.

It was a great pleasure to met you and some of the other folks from the forum! Great people, great trucks, great food!

Longhunter, thanks for posting the picture. Just wondering if the new belt did the trick for your truck? You'll have to haul your M 37 out next year to have your own spot in the activities. The teeter board is a lot of fun, just ask Andrew.

Ron,

The belt seemed to help. I sure would like to have the M37 out there next year! Tons of work to be done before then!

Well get on it man. Time is a wasting lol. Did you get the door handle thing sorted out?

Ron,

Locking door handle is only available in CHROME!

Doesn't go too well with O.D.

Spending money like drunk sailor, trying to get things done!

Longhunter7,

Ah, just get enough done to get it out and have some fun, then be like many of us (especially me) and keep working on it when your not out breaking it.
