Well I have decided to sell the one truck I never thought I would want to part with so here's the scoop.
'78 Dodge 1/2 ton,short bed, ORANGE/WHITE,, 4x4, 8" of lift, 38" Gumbo Mudders with LOTS of tread left on them!
'67 440 HP2 motor, with some head mods ( I believe they are the 915 heads with 3 angle valve job and bigger valves) , has a MOPAR purple shaft 509/292 cam,Alum. M1 intake,Holley 750 carb,Headman Headers with NEW 3" exhaust back to above the rear axle,with flowmaster (CLONES) exhaust...SOUNDS GREAT!
Interior is pretty good shape,factory buckets,lots of guages, the drivers seat is ripped, has HURST Shifter.
YES it is a AT, I assume its a 727? All stock as far as I know?
Has the DANA 44 front and the Chrysler 9 1/4 Rear with limited slip, 3.55 gears.
I know what your going to ask, hows the body?? Well it does have rust,some is bad some is not, in the pics it looks good,but it is a 78 after all and has seen its SHARE of the mud in the past years, this truck is a LEGEND around here, when people see this truck show up at the MUD BOGS ,they know its a real runner!! Has done me well in the past few years! I did not build this truck, I bought it a few years back just like it is, the only thing I have PERSONALLY done to this was have the exhaust put on this summer, and installed a FUEL CELL in the bed...AND thats the ONLY gas tank it has at the moment.
OK,so if you are interested.... and PLEASE SERIOUS buyers only!!!....it would be easier to discuss everything about this truck over the phone, here is a link to some pics, I have LOTS more but will have to post them a little at a time,because I have DIAL up so it takes a long time to down load them.
