I would like to use an additive in my diesel fuel to protect my older diesel engines. I would appreciate advice on what to add to the ultra low sulfer diesel offered today.
Thanks

Look for 2% (B2) or 5% (B5) biodiesel. 2% biodiesel adds optimum lubricit, no additive necessary.

Next month, we will have been running the ULSD here in SoCal for 1 year. No additives and no problems....so far....
Fuel economy seems to be marginally less, like 2 tenths of a mpg, but no other noticeable signs.
However the bio is not a bad idea for many reasons.

Don,
Is there less lubrication in B20, B15 and B5 than in B2?

Please contact me at ken(dot)dunnington(at)hemko(dot)com. I have two Hercules 3.7TD and I'd like to converse with you about these engines(I see you have one with a Clark behind it).
