Having a bad time yesterday so finally decided to just take the Town Wagon for a drive! Took back roads and headed down into town. Engine stumbled once in town so hooked around and headed home. Engine died on freeway for a few seconds, then restarted. On the home stretch it shut off cold, and wouldn't restart.
Got out and went through the drill of bleeding everything. Wouldn't start! Walked home and got another truck, and a couple of gallons of diesel. Went back, poured in the juice, bled it out again and it started, so drove home and walked back for other truck.
Turns out some slimeball decided he needed my fuel more than I did and had siphoned out about 15 gallons, plus a few bucks worth of Power Service Diesel Kleen and Marvel Mystery Oil. Not too many folks know this truck is now diesel, and my fervent hope is that he didn't either ha haha Wouldn't that be some great poetic justice? :~ )

All i can say is get a job - thats how i pay for my gas. Well maybe if he was stupid enough to not smell the diesel when he opened the tank, maybe he will try and put it in his gas vehicle. Theres not much lower than a thief. OK thats my rant for the day :-)

May I be so bold as to say, YEP! I hope he at least gagged on a couple of ounces.....before he messed up his gasser rig and had to walk.

You might just spot a fine neighbor sitting beside the road with a problem. That would make a guy's day wouldn't it?

Yea, and I have a very warped sense of humor at times. Would love to catch someone in the act. I am able to break them of the habit....

A TRUE STORY:
Fellow with an RV was awakened from sleep by a terrific commotion outside. Armed himself and went to investigate. Found a man on the ground in convulsion, wretching, heaving and rolling to and fro. When the police arrived the RV owner declined to press charges under the circumstances, feeling the thief was quite repentant.
Turned out the numbskull had inadvertently dipped his siphon hose in the RV BLACK WATER SEWAGE holding tank and gotten quite a good swallow or two......

Now that one is suitable for framing.
