Thanks Gordon,
I am looking for a W500 in usable condition. It will be used for a farm/plow/dump truck. If needed I will put a dump body on it. It needs to be fairly reliable and It should be located within a few states of Virginia.
If you know of one, please call me. Thanks

Thanks JimmyD ,
Where I live there aint much level ground. A 2wd probably wouldn't make it up my driveway in the rain, never mind in the winter

If you're not already a subscriber I would heaartily suggest a subscription to the Power Wagon Advertiser, available through this forum [just click on the picture in upper right hand corener this page]. There's all kinds of vintage Dodge military & civilian trucks listed and usually at fair prices, not ridiculous E-Bay prices, plus parts and all the rest. Great articles each month, like no other magazine, and a nice magazine to curl up around after a long day! My favorite. No, I'm not affiliated and don't get kickbacks from Gordon but I do know a fantastic deal when I see one: his magazine! :~ )

I'm already a subscriber and I love the magazine, Especially "sittin on the tailgate"
I'm retiring from my day job in about 4 months.
I'll finally have time to work on a truck of my own instead of just livin vicariously thru you all

Hey Jimmy1
Is Boston anywhere near South Boston, VA?

MN,
Boston, VA is up near the top of the state in Culpeper County and is locacted nine miles west of Culpeper itself. Culpeper (and Boston) are approximately half way between Charlottesville and Washington, DC if you are looking on a map...
South Boston, VA is down near the bottom of the state in Halifax County right at the headwaters of Buggs Island lake beween the lake and Danville which is located 30 miles west of South Boston.

See, South Boston is "south" of Boston...

I know this since I have familly living near each one... In fact, I will be driving twenty miles east of South Boston in two weeks when I ride up in my M37 to visit folks in Syria, VA which is located 16 of so miles west of Boston...

Wonderful area that Hillbilly lives in with land located right up next to the Blue Ridge Mountains with some spectacular trout streams...

I actually live in Rappahannock county Va. Boston is in the next county east (culpeper county) but it's the closest post office. Boston has a post office AND a general store, and they're convieniently located in the same building.
Rappahannock county has a grand total of zero traffic lights. lots of dirt roads, and good fishin and hunting.
