1977 w200 for sale

I have a treat for someone wanting a toy. It is a 1977 dodge w200 4x4 with a 360 with a 4-barrel carb. Motor has 65,000 miles and carborator is newer and not broke in yet. Body is in great shape and has wood flatbed. Has new suspension. Only problem is that when I parked it to sell, the transmission went out. I am asking at least 1,600.00 for truck.

The original post is over 1 1/2 years old, but should anyone else have the mysterious , the tranny worked until I parked it syndrome.

Put it in neutral and let it warm up, I have seen this on a truck I have here, the idleing in park does not have the same pump pressure

Bob, I once had the same thing happen to a 727 but it occured overnight.Flat wouldn't move.I pulled it and had it rebuilt but the mechanic said that there wasn't anything wrong enough with it to have prevented motion and that my torque convertor must be bad.So I got a new one and put the whole mess back together and everything worked fine. I was just amazed that something could stop working without any visible warning and while not being in use at the moment, considering that it worked the day before.
