1976 M880 (5/4 ton) for sale $1,700. Located in Los Angeles, CA
54,000 original miles. Formerly a military truck from Hawaii. Current California registration.
It is ugly on the outside but make no mistake about it, this truck is in excellent mechanical condition. It will out tow, out pull and outclimb most trucks on the road.
I have a brand new NOS grill (in bubble wrap) that goes with it. I also have new tail lenses for the rear (not on but included). It needs 2 new fenders and they are available at partstrain.com for $67 each. You can get a new year correct chrome front bumper there as well for about $110. Then you have a clean looking truck!
I have a Chrysler AM/FM/CB radio that goes with it and an M880 service manual reprint in new condition.
New water pump, new hoses, new belt, new tires, new wires, new Mallory ignition Unilite vacuum advance with balance resistor & power filter. New brakes all around. Rebuilt carb, All fluids changed, radiator flushed, black out light switch works. Horn works. This is the mighty truck that CAN.
Bed is in rough shape but serviceable. Bench seat needs reupholstery. Goose neck hitch and 5th wheel ball in bed for horse trailer.
This is an excellent working truck rated to haul 2,500 pounds of cargo. Drive across country. Needs nothing (except cosmetics).
