My buddy is cleaning up his land and he has what appears to be either a WW2 ambulance or panel type wagon and a 57 Dodge stepside that need to go to new homes or go to the crusher.

THe WW2 rig is very rough, but there appear to be some useful parts for someone doing a restore. You can either come and get the whole rig or take waht you need off of it. The drive train is there, but it has been exposed to the elements for years. $100 take what you want Here are some pictures of it:

The 57 dodge is fairly complete and is restorable if you wanted to. It would make a good donor rig as well. Most of the interior do dads are there and the glass is in good shape. This rig has a title. $200 or so would walk away with the whole rig

There are more hi-res pictures of the Dodges here:

There are also some other odds and ends for sale off the land as he is having to get rid of most of the old iron. There is a complete 66 Polara 2 door w/383 two barrel, a 65 Ford super van W/300 straight 6 and alot of other odds and ends that need to go or else face the crusher. There are 70 odd pictures in the open directory to look at. Alot of this stuff isn't much better than rust, but there are some usuable parts for a restorer.

All of this stuff is located on the upper Oregon coast near Astoria. If anyone is interested in any of this drop me an email.

That's a real shame, if that Ambulance had been protected from the elements it'd be worth more than that house.
Thanks for posting!
There's your drivetrain Jimmie.....= )

Which drivetrain, Norm? the Mini-Moke on the right in pic #2, with the hot WEBER carb conversion? I know it's a Weber carb, cause it has the custom Weber Barbeque cover air cleaner conversion.

I looked at a couple of pics, but on Dialup Modem it's over 5 minutes per picture on those HUGE .jpg's, so I'm not in for spending 5-6 hours to view the 70 images...... What pic number is the '66 Polara, as I may have a buyer for you, maybe.

I resized the pictures you want of the Polara into some more dialup friendly sizes. They are 51-54 (medium) and 71,72 (medium).

Okay, I took a look and I'll contact him. He might be interested in it for a parts car. He's in southern Oregon. If he's interested I'll send him your e-mail addie. Thanks again for the re-size.....

I did a MapQuest to Astoria, OR and my house. I don't think I'll make it there.

Total Est. Time: 35 hours, 32 minutes Total Est. Distance: 2411.47 miles

I would certainly give a $100 for the ambulance. The radiator alone would probably bring that much. Of course I have that sickness and would want to restore it instead of part it out...

If anyone wants to bring it to me I'll get started on it!
