Does anyone know a source for the 9.00-16 Power Kings? My supplier just told me he could no longer get them. I wanted to get one more for a spare.
Thanks

They are available here Dave but I'm in Vancouver Canada....might get costly to ship one only!
They cost around $105US each & I'm not sure if they'd charge extra for just one.
Let me know if I can help.

Marty,
Would you ask the tire dealer who makes them now.
I need one also.
Can find out from the company that makes them, who sells them in the areas that we are in.
My last ones were made in Mexico and were tubeless

Fred,

check this link from the "previous" forum (not the current one) on dodgepowerwagon.com
http://tbccommercialtires.com/tbctruck/links.html

By searching dealers in my area that handled the tbc line, I was able to find a power king tire not too far away. ALso on that forum, a fellow said that he got tires from a Big O in New Mexico, and another got a set recently from a Les Shwab store. So out west where you and Marty live, there are apparently several sources.

Marty,
thanks for your post. See my reply to Fred. I bet the U.P.S. charges from Vancouver would be steep! Luckily, even though it seems that the Power Kings are more available out west, I was able to find one here.
My wife and son were out near you last summer on Vancouver Island. Very beautiful place, I even ran across the town of Langford (my last name) No relation though.

I have 4 with tubes and probably flaps, used, some checking but not bad. I'd estimate 85+% tread but will not swear to it. Probably around $200 or so for the lot. They are still on my truck at the moment, but could change that on demand. Not very interested in shipping, but...they need a good home. Can run or perfect spares.

I have a few power king tires in my storage container, have not looked closely at them in a while. If my memory is correct, they are very good condition. The last ones I bought, the dealer said they were built by Kelly- Springfield, can't say take this info to the bank, its just what I was told. Don't know if new ones are still available, as I use either radials or military on most of my rebuilds now.

They are made by the Kelly-Springfield division of Goodyear. I have info about these on my website. They are sold under a variety of names and the link in the reply above is the correct one for one of the larger distributor of them in "other" names. My tire photo page has info on these including a decoding of the DOT tire code that indicates the plant of manufacture. The page is at: http://www.garbee.net/~cabell/photos5.htm

They around $120 each according to folks who have purchased them recently...

I have five slightly used ones in my storage shed as I am running Michelin 900r16XZL currently...

Ive got one I would part with, its not new, but has enough tread to pass inspection. No dryrot. Let me know if its anything you are interested in.
Thanks, Tim
