Stumbled across an interesting website that may be of some interest. It's one of those that seems to tell a person far more than they ever planned to know about a particular subject, in this case: metal finishing. These boys can make your brain seep out from the ears I think....

Actually, I think this place is run by a metals engineer with a PhD and he makes an effort to get answers for questions. I posted a query there a couple of years ago and got a response after a few days.
