Hi Brent,

My garage looks just like that. I had to measure 3 times to make sure that my WC would fit. I have about 4 inches on each side. Were are you at, I am in Lompoc, CA. Your WC looks good, mine just needs a fresh coat of OD and a little detail work. The only modifications to mine are the Pertronix electronic ignition(which is hidden under the distributor cap) and non-driving hubs (no splines just a bearing inside). They are alot cheaper than lock-out hubs and still look factory. If you want to go back to 4 wheel drive, just bolt the original drive hubs back on. These non-driving hubs were made for the M-37s when the military needed to drive them long distances on paved roads to save wear on the vehicle. With the front axle disengaged from the front wheels you can safely drive it at 45mph without danger of over revving the engine and the ride is alot quieter.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Scott, I am in Columbia, Maryland. I appreciate the advice on the hubs. I was unaware that was possible.

Thanks again,

Brent

How about posting some pics of your WC?

Brent,
Check out the WACBGMVT website. It's a good club that's getting better all the time. $20 a year dues - 6 newsletters. We sponsor the Aberdeen East Coast rallys. We are always accepting new members. You may already know all of this. If not, give it a try.

Where's the rough part? If my M37 looked anywhere close to that good, I'd enjoy it and not do another thing to it.

Wow, that's a tight fit!
Still way better than no garage.

Nice truck!

Thank you for the compliments. I will be taking this lady to the Aberdeen rally as part of a reenactment display.

Brent:

I have to agree with Nick. I wish my MV looked that rough.

The guys are right Brent, your truck looks fit! I am a displaced Baltimorean, I have some great memories of Columbia, back when it was developed. Hope to see you at Ripken!

Thanks for the comment, Bruce. I have to admit my fellow Columbians don't really know what's up when I drive around the neighborhood! The look of confusion is priceless. Keep an eye out for me at Ripken. I set up a display with truck tent, etc. and I will be in uniform. I will look forward to meeting you.
