here is a shot of my mate's Dodge Power Wagon, it was a complete rebuild, the rear bed was too far gone,so he made a back body himself.

that was the original turn signal, basically a metal hand that has a handle the driver operated to show others his intention.

Good idea for cold weather, so you don't have to stick your own hand out Ha Ha
