Last year at the Patton Museum I used a misfiring, neglected M56B1 with a stock 230 to pull a PAK 40 75mm AT Gun around the paradge grounds.
I believe that gun weighs in the neighborhood of 9,500 pounds.
Of course, we stopped when the gun wanted to.
Talk about looks you get when you drive your old truck. You should try towing an artillery piece that would be a significant threat on today's battlefield with the proper ammunition. Talk about turning heads. :)
