Ball joints and track rods

I read that there is a lot of trouble with ball joints and track rods on the front of the Rams of the series that includes my 2001. Have any of you had trouble with your front ends?

Haven't had any problems, but my 3500 chassis/cab is a little different from the rest of the Rams. Same tube axle and suspension as the 4x4's, just no front diff. = (

No trouble with the ball joints but the Track bar in my 94 busted in the curved area.. Two guys I work with replaced their track bars due to looseness the ball joint end..

Have a '97 4 x 4 which now has 100k miles. Have had considerable trouble with the front end. 3 track bars, 3 steering boxes, upper and lower ball joints on both sides most of the other joints replaced once or twice. Problem with the ball joints was no grease fittings. Steering box is a very poor design as is the entire front axle support. Have added several items to steering which have seemed to correct steering box problem. Also bought a lifetime gaurantee track bar so I don't mind changing it as it only takes 15 minutes or so.
