1965 W300 1 ton, 4x4, working dump flat bed, 318 poly engine, and MU-3 winch with heavy duty front bumper. Engine has Accel pointless distributor and Super Coil, headers, and remote oil filter setup. Engine runs well with good power. Brakes with vacuum booster are somewhat mushy on the first pump, but have good pedal on the second pump. Steering feels loose and one ball joint looks loose. Transmission grinds downshifting into 2nd gear. Diffs have 5.87 gearing. Interior is nice with good carpeting and sound insulation.

Dump flat bed works fine, but hydraulic rams do leak slightly. Flat bed is in nice shape with good wood, side boards, and all lights are intact and unbroken.

Headlights and wipers work. Other electrical accessories and lights don't work.

The MU-3 winch was a special order option and looks factory installed with front x-member made to clear pto drive shaft, and nice floor-mounted pto lever setup. Nice front bumper. Winch works, but leaks oil at the driveshaft input seal, and has no cable. Has dash-mounted engine speed control cable.

Frame and underbody looks very clean. Good body mounts. Has factory rear overload springs.

Body looks good, but does have bondo on the right fender and door bottoms. Front hood latch is broken.

Interior is in good shape with nice carpeting and sound insulation. Seat has a tear. Sun visor brackets are broken. Left door doesn't close completly - star wheel is worn out. Left window crank spline is stripped, but window rolls up and down smoothly. Other door opens and closes smoothly. All glass is good with no cracks. Weather stripping and gaskets are in good shape.

Left front lockout is missing center dial. Parking brake drum is missing, but linkage and lever are present. Speedo cable is disconnected. Only dash ammeter works. Has aftermarket oil pressure gauge, which indicates good oil pressure. Right front tire leaks air. Tires are 9x16 Power Kings with ok tread and some sidewall weathering.

Previous owner had restored the truck some years ago. Originally from California, probably a former utility co. truck. He had the engine rebuilt, repainted the frame and body, replaced the weather stripping and rubber gaskets, replaced the bed wood, etc.

I have some parts available at extra cost to the buyer. These include a factory service manual, owner's manual, parts manual, nice hood, Weiand alumium intake manifold for a poly 318 with matching Edelbrock carb, hood hinges, etc.

I bought this truck on a whim and realize I don't have the time for it. Neat truck, but does need some work. Truck is located in Albuquerque, NM. Have valid NM title, $4500/offer. Call 505-293-7930 or email jbl2farrellhale@msn.com
