This truck is my next project, waiting quitely in the garage. I have to finish putting three bedrooms and a bath in the basement first, so it could be a couple months before I get to it. I sent away to Chrysler for the build card on this truck, and per the frame serial number, build card, and data plate it is a 1945 production truck. Bed is the earlier style though... go figure.

Hi Chris
You've got a lot of work ahead off you.
I wouldn't worry about the different buildingdates of the bed , chassis or cab.
They were swapped by the Army in WW2 motorpools if something was badly damaged or by later users.

I imagine it will require effort similar to the Carryall I did a couple years ago. See:
