Sorry I missed this post. Ron in Indiana just told me about it this afternoon. I don't have the "view new post" button at the top anymore, which, makes it hard to see the new posts since last login. Kind of a pain to look through each category for new posts...
Yeah - I do need to make a trip out to California. Just need title, registration and insurance and as well as it runs, roadtrip back East :o)
I still have my bag of tools from visiting Andrew in New Jersey readily available.
BTW Andrew - do I need to plan a fall trip for winter prepardness of your fleet of vehicles. Check tires, grease and lube, install winter wiper blades.
We could even get the white beast running and driving!

Kind of a pain to look through each category for new posts...I just look at the time/date of the last post in each forum and compare that to my last login time. Since I generally come here daily its easy to view any posts since my last log in.
I admire you guys that transverse the continent after these beloved machines.

712 - it still is a pain to look through each forum. There are only a couple that I look at on a regular basis, but when I see an interesting topic, I will drop into another section. Unfortunately, it has slowed my browsing here tremendously. So goes life and we adjust.

I probably should not tell you this,,,but I will. I did see your other post looking for a 1961-1971 crewcab truck. But I didn't know you were in Wi until just now. When I saw your post, and in your title about the shipping of your new truck to Wi. So I went and looked at the other thread and then I saw the 414 phone number. If I would have saw the # before I would have knew right away where you were. I grew up around the Oconomowoc area before I moved out to Colorado about 10 years ago.
Anyways where I am going with all this is I know a guy in Wi, (I am pretty sure he lives around the Sussex area) he has two crew-cabs ones is 1969 D200 and the other one is a 1970 or 1971 W200 both are crew cabs, both of the trucks are orinigal 383 big block trucks, the D200 was a 4 speed truck and the W200 was a automatic.
Both trucks he bought from me back in '99 or '00 both trucks where from outwest so they were not total rust buckets. I bought the W200 from the orinigal owner in UT and brought it back to Wi, and I bought the D200 at a farm auction here in Colorado about the same time and brought it back to Wi. When I moved out to Colorado I had to many trucks to move and I sold the two crewcabs to him. I know about a year ago he was trying to sell them and he asked me if I wanted to buy them?
I have his email address, since we still talk every now and then. I am not sure if he still has the two trucks as it has not come up for a while. But I know he has lots and lots of parts for the 61-71 trucks. He just finshed a resto on a 1970 or 1971 W200 (clone type) Dude. I know that he has quite a few other 1961-1971 trucks also.
I am sorry for not seeing that you are in Wi sooner. But if you want to get a hold of him, send me a email and I will give you his email.
My email is mattsoldmopars@yahoo.com
